Selection Process of RRB Categories Recruitment
The recruitment process of RRB Ministerial & Isolated Categories posts shall involve Single Stage CBT, Performance Test/Teaching Skill Test, Translation Test (as applicable) and DV/Medical Examination.
Computer Based Test
Name of exam: Computer Based Test (CBT)
Date of exam: To be updated later
Mode of exam: Online (CBT)
Duration of exam: 90 minutes (120 minutes for PwBD candidates who are availing the Scribe facility)
Total no. of questions: 100 nos
Type of questions: Multiple Choice Question
Standard of questions: The standard of questions for the Single Stage CBT will be generally in conformity with the educational standards prescribed for the posts
Negative marking: There shall be negative marking @1/3rd marks for each wrong answer.
Pass marks: Minimum percentage of marks for eligibility in various communities: UR-40%, EWS-40%, OBC(Non Creamy Layer)-30%, SC-30% and ST-25%. These percentages of marks for eligibility may be relaxed by 2 marks for PwBD candidates in case of shortage of PwBD candidates against vacancies reserved for them.
Normalization: The normalized marks scored by the candidate in the CBT shall be used for shortlisting the candidates for Performance Test/Teaching Skill Test, Translation Test, DV (as applicable) for the posts.
