Indian Army has released the official notification for the recruitment of Agniveer Vacancy 2026 under Agnipath Scheme across the country. A Common Entrance Exam (CEE) will be organized for the recruitment of Agniveer posts. Online registration for Indian Army Agniveer posts will be started on from 13th February 2026 till 1st April 2026.
Different Army Recruiting Offices (AROs) have issued individual notifications. Interested and eligible candidates who want to join Indian Army as a soldier may apply online here.

Eligibility Criteria of Indian Army Recruitment
1. Agniveer (General Duty)
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed class 10th examination with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject.
Note: Candidates with valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving Licenses will be given preference for Driver requirements.
2. Agniveer (Technical)
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have
10+2/Intermediate Exam Passed in Science with Physics, Maths and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
OR
10+2 /Intermediate Exam Passed in Science with Physics, Maths & English from any recognized State Education Board or Central Education Board to include NIOS and ITI course of one year in any field with NSQF level 4 or above.
OR
Passed two years vocational course with non-vocational subjects viz Physics and Mathematics from Education Board recognized by Central/State/UT Government with 50% marks in aggregate. The fields for vocational subjects (NEP 2020) to be related to Science and Tech as mentioned below :-

# Higher Education (Vocational Degrees):

3. Agniveer Clerk/ Store Keeper (Technical)
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have 10+2 / Intermediate Exam Pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject. Securing 50% in English and Maths/Accounts/Book Keeping in Class XII is mandatory.
4. Agniveer Tradesmen 10th Pass
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed class 10th examination with having 33% marks in each subject.
5. Agniveer Tradesmen 8th Pass
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed class 8th examination with having 33% marks in each subject.
Age Limit: The age of the candidate should not be less than 17 years 6 months and not more than 22 years. Candidates born between 01 Jul 2005 to 01 Jul 2009 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply under Agnipath Scheme.
