💼 Salary
Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary in the Pay Band of ₹57,700 – ₹1,82,400 (Academic Level-10) along with admissible government allowances as per Assam Government rules.
🎯 Age Criteria
Applicants must satisfy the following age requirements as on 1 January 2026:
- Minimum Age: 21 Years
- Maximum Age: 45 Years
Age Relaxation
- Persons with Disabilities (PwD): 10 years relaxation in the upper age limit as per Government norms.
🎓 Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess the prescribed postgraduate qualification from an institution recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC), National Board of Examinations (NBE) or Dental Council of India (DCI), depending on the discipline.
Broad Speciality
Eligible qualifications include:
- MD
- MS
- DNB
- MDS
in the relevant specialty.
For certain non-clinical departments:
- Anatomy: MS (Anatomy) or M.Sc. Medical Anatomy with Ph.D.
- Biochemistry: MD (Biochemistry) or M.Sc. Medical Biochemistry with Ph.D.
- Physiology: MD (Physiology) or M.Sc. Medical Physiology with Ph.D.
Super Speciality
Applicants should possess:
- MD/DNB in General Medicine for Medical Super Speciality departments such as Cardiology, Neurology, Nephrology, Medical Oncology and related disciplines.
or
- MS/DNB in General Surgery for Surgical Super Speciality departments such as CTVS, Plastic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Urology and Paediatric Surgery.
Candidates holding DM, M.Ch. or Super Specialty DNB in the concerned field may receive preference during selection.
