Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution approved by the Government of India.
Candidates should have their graduation degree or mark sheet available on or before 9th August 2026.
Work Experience
Candidates must have at least one year of post-qualification experience in the Clerical or Officer Cadre of any Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank listed under the Second Schedule of the RBI Act.
Age Limit
Applicants should be 20 to 30 years of age as on 1st July 2026.
Age Relaxation
Upper age relaxation is available as per Government of India rules:

PNB LBO Recruitment 2026 – Selection Process
The recruitment process for the Local Bank Officer (LBO) posts will be carried out in multiple stages to assess candidates’ knowledge, skills, and suitability for the role. Applicants must successfully clear each stage to be considered for final appointment.
Stage 1: Online Written Examination
The first stage is an online objective test consisting of the following sections:

Negative Marking:

Stage 2: Application & Document Screening
Candidates who qualify in the written examination will have their online application forms and supporting documents verified by the bank. During this stage, the bank will confirm whether applicants meet all prescribed eligibility conditions before allowing them to proceed further.
Stage 3: Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT)
Applicants who have not studied the prescribed local language of their chosen state in Class 10 or Class 12 must appear for the Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT).
