Educational Qualification

For Medical Laboratory Technician (Pathology & Radiology)

Candidates should have:

  • Passed Class 12 (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB).
  • Secured at least 50% marks in both Class 10 and Class 12 examinations.

For All Other Trades

Candidates must have:

  • Passed Class 10 (Matriculation) with at least 50% aggregate marks (minimum marks not applicable for SC/ST candidates).
  • Possess a valid ITI certificate in the relevant trade issued by NCVT/SCVT.

Selection Process

Selection will be made purely on the basis of a merit list.

The merit list will be prepared by considering:

  • Average marks obtained in Class 10 and ITI for technical trades.
  • For Medical Laboratory Technician trades, merit will be based on Class 10 and Class 12 (PCB) marks.
  • Merit will be calculated using the total marks obtained in the qualifying examinations.
  • Any incorrect or false information submitted during the application process may lead to cancellation of candidature.

No written examination or interview is expected for the selection process.

Stipend

Candidates selected as apprentices will receive a monthly stipend according to the Apprenticeship Rules.

  • ₹9,600 per month for eligible NTC/STC holders.
  • ₹10,560 per month during the second year wherever applicable.
  • ₹11,040 per month during the third year wherever applicable.
  • The stipend may be revised by the competent authority from time to time.
