N F Railway Apprentice Stipend Details
Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend as per the Apprenticeship rules.
- NTC/STC holders: ₹9,600/- per month (minimum)
- Second year stipend: ₹10,560/- per month
- Third year stipend: ₹11,040/- per month
The stipend amount may be revised according to government instructions from time to time.
Training Period:
- Normal Trades: 1 Year
- Medical Laboratory Technician: 1 Year 3 Months
Eligibility Criteria for N F Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2026
Age Limit
Candidates must fulfill the following age criteria:
- Minimum Age: 15 Years
- Maximum Age: 24 Years
The age will be calculated as per the closing date of the application.
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST Candidates: 5 Years
- OBC Candidates: 3 Years
- PwBD Candidates: 10 Years
Educational Qualification
For Other Trades:
Applicants must have:
- Passed Class 10th (Matriculation) with minimum 50% marks from a recognized board.
- Possess ITI Certificate in the relevant trade issued by NCVT/SCVT.
For Medical Laboratory Technician (Pathology/Radiology):
Candidates must have:
- Passed Class 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB).

Selection Process of N F Railway Apprentice 2026
Selection will be done based on a merit list prepared according to the candidate’s academic performance.
The merit list will be prepared considering:

The final merit score will be calculated by taking the average percentage of Class 10th and ITI marks.
