Eligibility Criteria for IIM CAT 2026
Age Limit
There is no upper age limit for appearing in the CAT 2026 examination.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must fulfill any one of the following eligibility conditions:
Option 1:
Candidates must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
Option 2:
Candidates having professional qualifications such as:
- CA (Chartered Accountant)
- CS (Company Secretary)
- CMA/ICWA
- Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of India (FIAI)
are also eligible.
Option 3:
Candidates who are currently studying in the final year of Bachelor’s Degree can also apply.
Minimum Percentage Required
- General / EWS / NC-OBC Category: Minimum 50% marks
- SC / ST / PwBD Category: Minimum 45% marks
