Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Applicants should have passed HSLC or 10th standard from a recognized Board or institution.
Age Limit
Candidates must be:
- Minimum Age: 30 years
- Maximum Age: 65 years
The age will be calculated as on 1 January 2026.
Other Eligibility Conditions
Applicants should satisfy the following conditions:
- The applicant must be an Indian citizen and a permanent resident of the concerned village or group of villages for which the Gaon Pradhan position is being sought.
- The applicant should possess land or immovable property in their own name within the relevant area.
- The candidate must not have more than two living children from a single or multiple partners.
- An affidavit regarding the number of living children must be submitted.
- The applicant should not be a government employee.
- The candidate must not be a member of any political party.
- The applicant should be physically fit and of sound mind.
- The candidate should not have been declared insolvent or be a defaulter in payment of government dues.
Salary
Selected candidates appointed as Gaon Pradhan will receive a monthly remuneration of ₹14,000/-.
