Selected candidates will be appointed under the Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Department, KAAC.
💰 Salary / Pay Scale
The selected candidates will receive a pay scale of:
₹14,000 – ₹70,000 + Grade Pay ₹6,200
Other admissible allowances will be provided according to the applicable government rules.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfil the educational and professional requirements prescribed for the VFA post.
Educational Qualification
Applicants must have:
- Passed HSSLC (Science) examination.
- Biology must have been one of the subjects.
- Successfully completed the One-Year Training Course in Elementary Knowledge of Veterinary Science from the recognized School of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Ghungoor, Silchar, established by the Government of Assam.
Candidates must also satisfy the applicable physical and medical fitness requirements prescribed for the post.
🎂 Age Limit
The age of applicants will be determined according to the applicable provisions of the Assam Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Subordinate Rules, 2002 and subsequent government orders.
The date of birth will be verified from the HSLC Certificate/HSLC Admit Card or another certificate issued by a recognized Board/Council.
Age relaxation: Applicable relaxation will be provided according to government rules.

💳 Application Fee
Applicants must submit the prescribed application fee through a KAAC Money Receipt:
- ST/SC Candidates: ₹10/-
- Other Candidates: ₹20/-
Important: Bank Draft, Money Order, Cash or Cheque will not be accepted for payment of the application fee.

Eligible candidates need to submit their application in the Standard Form prescribed under Part-IX of the Assam Gazette.
