SSUHS B.Sc. Nursing Admission 2026
Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS) has released the official notification for the Common Entrance Examination (CEE) 2026 for admission into the B.Sc. Nursing course in Government and Private institutes of Assam for the academic session 2026.
The entrance examination will be conducted on 7th June 2026 at multiple centres across Assam and selected centres in other North Eastern states.
It is important to note that the same CEE score will also be used for admission into other courses such as D.Pharm, B.Pharm, and Allied & Healthcare (B.Sc. Medical Technology).
Eligible candidates can apply online till 12th May 2026.

Eligibility Criteria
Citizenship
- Applicant must be an Indian citizen.
Residency
- Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) is required for admission into Government institutes of Assam.
Age Limit
- Minimum age: 17 years as on 31st December 2026
- Maximum age: 35 years
Gender
- For Government institutes in Assam, male candidates are not eligible.
- This rule may not apply to private institutes (candidates should verify individually).
Colour Blindness
- Colour blind candidates are eligible but must use corrective lenses or spectacles.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Must have passed 10+2 (Science) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- Must secure at least 45% marks in PCB combined.
- Must have passed English as a subject.
Additional Eligibility:
- Candidates from State Open School or NIOS with Science subjects and English are also eligible.
- English is a compulsory subject for admission.
Other Requirements
- Candidate must be medically fit.
- Married candidates are also eligible.
Application Fee
- The application fee must be paid online via the official payment gateway.
- PwD candidates (40% disability or above) are exempted from the fee.
