Salary Structure
Selected candidates will be appointed under Pay Band-4 with the following pay scale:
- Pay Scale: ₹30,000 – ₹1,10,000 per month
- Grade Pay: ₹12,700
In addition to basic pay, employees will be entitled to allowances and benefits as per Assam Government rules.
Educational Qualification
Applicants must have secured at least 45% marks (Second Class) in any one of the following qualifications from a Government-recognized University or Institution:
- M.Sc. in Geology
- M.Sc. in Applied Geology
- M.Sc. Tech in Applied Geology
- M.Tech in Applied Geology
- Integrated M.Sc. Tech in Applied Geology
Age Limit
Candidates must satisfy the following age criteria as on 1 January 2026:

Eligibility Conditions
Citizenship

Permanent Residency
Candidates must be permanent residents of Assam and should possess any one of the following documents:
- Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) issued in Assam for educational purposes, or
- Employment Exchange Registration Certificate issued in Assam.

Applicants must have a valid registration in any Employment Exchange of Assam.
Small Family Norms
