Eligibility Criteria
State Eligibility
Applicants must apply under the respective North-Eastern state or union territory category for which they seek admission. Candidates must provide any one of the following supporting documents:
- Proof of passing the qualifying examination from the concerned state/UT.
- Certificate of posting of parent/guardian employed under State Government, Central Government, Public Sector Undertakings, or Autonomous Bodies.
- Valid domicile, residence, nativity, or permanent residence certificate issued by a competent authority.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must fulfill the following academic requirements:
- A minimum of 50% marks in Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree in Science, Social Science, Humanities, or equivalent disciplines.
- Candidates possessing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics must have secured at least 55% marks.
- Candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories are eligible for a relaxation of 5% marks.
