The Government of Assam has introduced the SAMARTH Admission Portal as a unified online platform for admission to undergraduate and integrated postgraduate programmes offered by Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) across the state. Since its launch in the 2023–24 academic session, the portal has simplified the admission process by allowing students to apply to multiple colleges and universities through a single application.
The portal is used for admission to Four-Year Undergraduate Programmes (FYUGP), Five-Year Integrated Master’s Programmes (FYIMP), and Five-Year Integrated Postgraduate Programmes (FYIPGP) offered by Government, Provincialised, Private, PDUAM, Government Model Colleges, and State Universities in Assam.
