Eligibility Criteria
Nationality:
Candidates must be Indian citizens. State/UT-wise vacancies require a valid domicile or PRC.
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026):
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 23 years
- Born between: 02-01-2003 and 01-01-2008
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 years
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th) from a recognized board on or before 01-01-2026.
Domicile Certificate
Candidates must produce a valid Domicile/PRC of the state mentioned in the application during document verification. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of candidature.

Selection Process of SSC Constable GD Recruitment
The selection process for SSC Constable (GD) consists of the following stages:
- Computer Based Examination (CBE)
- Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Detailed Medical Examination (DME) / Review Medical Examination (RME)

Computer Based Examination (CBE)
Candidates who apply online must first appear in the Computer Based Examination.
