HS 1st Year Online Admission 2026 – Apply Through DARPAN Portal
The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB), Division-II (formerly AHSEC), has introduced the DARPAN Online Admission Portal for HS 1st Year (Class 11) admissions for the academic session 2026–2027.
Students who have successfully passed the HSLC Examination 2026 can apply online for admission into Higher Secondary courses. The admission process begins from 12th April 2026, within three days after the declaration of HSLC results.
👉 Each student can apply to a maximum of five (5) institutions.

🌐 About DARPAN Portal
The DARPAN Portal is a centralized online system for HS admissions in Assam. All colleges, higher secondary schools, and senior secondary institutions under ASSEB must register and update their profiles to participate in the admission process.
Institutions with new academic permission must register using the token number provided by ASSEB to complete their profile and start admissions.
📝 How to Apply for HS 1st Year Admission 2026
Follow these steps to apply online:
- Visit the official DARPAN admission portal
- Click on “HS 1st Year Online Admission”
- Register a new account
- Enter personal and academic details
- Upload required documents
- Set a 4-digit login PIN and complete registration
- Log in again and select your preferred course and institutions
- Choose up to 5 colleges/schools in order of preference
- Submit the application form
- Take a printout and regularly check for updates
