NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has invited online applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of 114 Assistant Engineer and Deputy General Manager positions. These vacancies are available for experienced professionals in the renewable energy sector. Vacancy Details
1. Assistant Engineer – Renewable Energy (Asset Management/Operation & Maintenance) (E-0 Grade)
Number of Posts: 100
Maximum Age: 40 Years
Educational Qualification:
- Full-time Regular Diploma in Engineering in any of the following disciplines:
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electronics Engineering
- Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- Instrumentation Engineering
- The diploma must be obtained from a State Technical Board or an AICTE/UGC-recognized institution.
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in the power sector, including any training period.
- At least 6 years of experience should be in the operation, maintenance, or asset management of grid-connected Solar and/or Wind Power Projects of 50 MW capacity or above.
Pay Scale:
- ₹30,000 – ₹1,20,000 (E-0 Grade)
- Initial Basic Pay: ₹40,000
2. Deputy General Manager – Renewable Energy (E-6 Grade)
Number of Posts: 14
Maximum Age: 44 Years
Educational Qualification:
- Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks in one of the following disciplines:
- Electrical Engineering
- Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- Electronics Engineering
- Control & Instrumentation Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
Candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwBD categories with passing marks are also eligible to apply.
Experience:
- Minimum 12 years of post-qualification executive-level experience in the power sector.
- At least 10 years should be with a renewable energy developer handling Solar and/or Wind Power Projects.
- Candidates should also have a minimum of 2 years of site experience in the construction, erection, commissioning, or related activities of grid-connected Solar or Wind Projects of 50 MW or higher.
Pay Scale:
- ₹90,000 – ₹2,40,000 (E-6 Grade)
- Initial Basic Pay: ₹90,000
Selected candidates will also receive Dearness Allowance (DA), allowances, medical facilities, retirement benefits, and other perks as per company rules.
Selection Process
NGEL may adopt a multi-stage recruitment process depending on the number of applications received. The selection stages may include one or more of the following:
