Monthly Stipend
Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend according to the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973, the Apprenticeship Rules, and the guidelines issued by Indian Oil Corporation Limited.
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
Applicants should be 18 to 24 years of age as on 30 June 2026.
Upper Age Relaxation
- SC/ST: 5 Years
- OBC (NCL)/MOBC: 3 Years
- PwBD: 10 Years
- PwBD + OBC (NCL): 13 Years
- PwBD + SC/ST: 15 Years
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess the required qualification for the respective trade.
Trade Apprentice – Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant)
- B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Industrial Chemistry.
Trade Apprentice (Boiler)
- B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Industrial Chemistry.
Trade Apprentice (Fitter)
- Matriculation (10th Pass) with ITI in Fitter Trade (minimum 2-year course).
Technician Apprentice – Chemical
- Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical Engineering, Chemical Technology, or Refinery & Petrochemical Engineering.
Technician Apprentice – Mechanical
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Technician Apprentice – Instrumentation
- Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering, Instrumentation & Electronics, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, or Applied Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering.
Technician Apprentice – Electrical
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
Trade Apprentice – Secretarial Assistant
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.Sc./B.Com).
Trade Apprentice – Accountant
- B.Com Degree.
Trade Apprentice – Data Entry Operator (Fresher)
- Passed Class XII (10+2).
Trade Apprentice – Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holder)
