Salary
Selected candidates will be appointed in the E4 Grade with an IDA Pay Scale of ₹70,000 to ₹2,00,000 along with other allowances and benefits as per NTPC rules.
Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for these posts.
Age Limit
Applicants should not be more than 40 years of age as per the prescribed cut-off date.
Age Relaxation
Reserved category candidates are eligible for age relaxation as follows:
- SC/ST – 5 Years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) – 3 Years
- PwBD – 10 Years
- Ex-Servicemen – As per Government of India norms
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a full-time B.E. or B.Tech degree in the relevant engineering discipline from a recognized University or Institute with a minimum of 60% marks.
Experience Required
Applicants should have at least 10 years of post-qualification executive experience in the power sector, including Coal, Gas, or Lignite-based power projects.
Experience should be in one or more of the following areas:
- Operation
- Maintenance
- Commissioning
- Erection
- Engineering
The experience must be gained in a power plant or project with a capacity of 200 MW or above.
