The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has reopened the online application process for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) September 2026. The reopening gives eligible candidates another opportunity to submit their applications if they missed the earlier application window.

🔔 CTET Application Form Reopened
CBSE has reopened the CTET September 2026 application portal from 25 August 2026 to 1 September 2026 to provide another opportunity to eligible candidates who could not complete their applications during the earlier registration period.
Important: Candidates who have already completed and successfully submitted their CTET September 2026 application do not need to register again.

🎓 CTET Eligibility Criteria 2026

Paper I – Classes I to V

- Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education as per applicable NCTE regulations.
- Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
- Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- Graduation with at least 50% marks along with B.Ed., subject to the applicable rules and conditions.

Paper II – Classes VI to VIII
Eligibility may include:
- Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a 1-year B.Ed.
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in a 1-year B.Ed. according to applicable NCTE regulations.
- Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year B.El.Ed.
- Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed. or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed.
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).
- Other teacher-education qualifications recognized under the applicable NCTE/RCI provisions.
