Eligibility Criteria for IOCL Nursing Admission
B.Sc Nursing Eligibility
Candidates applying for B.Sc Nursing must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board/Council/University.
Applicants must:
- Have studied English as one of the subjects.
- Secure at least 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology for the General category.
- Candidates belonging to SC/ST(P)/ST(H) categories must secure at least 40% aggregate marks in PCB.
- Have a valid CEE-2026 Roll Number and marks, wherever applicable.
GNM Eligibility
Candidates applying for GNM must satisfy the prescribed qualification requirements. Eligible routes include:
Route 1:
Passed 10+2 with English and obtained at least 40% marks in the qualifying examination, including English individually, from a recognized Board.
Route 2:
Passed 10+2 with English and secured 40% marks in a vocational ANM course from a school recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
Route 3:
Passed 10+2 with English and secured 40% marks in the vocational Health Care Science stream from a recognized CBSE/State/Central Board.
Route 4:
Candidates who are registered ANMs with pass marks may also be considered as per the prescribed eligibility conditions.
Applicants for GNM admission must have the required GNMEE-2026 Roll Number and marks, wherever applicable.
Gender Eligibility
Only female candidates are eligible to apply for the IOCL B.Sc Nursing and GNM admission.

Selected students will be required to stay in the designated nursing college hostel.
Post-Course Internship Opportunity
B.Sc Nursing
After successful completion of the B.Sc Nursing course, candidates will be engaged as working interns for one year at AOD Hospital or another hospital of Indian Oil Corporation Limited.
The internship may be extended for up to two additional years, subject to the applicable terms and the discretion of IOCL (AOD).
The monthly consolidated internship stipend will be:
- Rs. 16,250/- at AOD Hospital
- An additional Rs. 1,000/- per month if posted at another IOCL hospital
Accommodation will not be provided during the working internship period.
GNM
GNM pass-outs will also be engaged as working interns for one year at AOD Hospital or another IOCL hospital.
The internship may be extended by up to two additional years, subject to applicable conditions.
The monthly consolidated stipend will be:
- Rs. 15,250/- at AOD Hospital
- An additional Rs. 1,000/- per month if posted at another IOCL hospital
No accommodation facility will be provided during the internship period.
