Land Record Assistant Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
Candidates must be between 21 and 40 years of age as on 1 January 2026.
Age relaxation for eligible reserved categories will be provided according to applicable Government rules.
The candidate’s date of birth will be verified using the Class X/Class XII Admit Card, Pass Certificate or Mark Sheet issued by a recognized Board or Council.
Educational Qualification
Applicants must have successfully completed the Recorders Certificate Class Course (RCCC) from the Assam Survey & Settlement Training Centre, Dakhingaon, Guwahati-40.
The candidate must have passed the prescribed examination in both:
- Survey
- Settlement
The RCCC qualification must have been obtained before the commencement of the Government notification No. LA&A/429557/158 dated 13 August 2026.
Computer Proficiency
Candidates should have working knowledge of computers and must possess the following minimum typing speed:
- English: 30 WPM
- Assamese/Bengali: 15 WPM
Pay Scale
Selected candidates for the Land Record Assistant post will receive salary under:
PB-2: ₹14,000 – ₹70,000 + Grade Pay ₹6,200
Other admissible allowances will be provided as per applicable Government rules.
