MHRB Assam Salary
Selected candidates for the Medical & Health Officer-I position will receive the following pay:
Pay Scale: ₹30,000 – ₹1,10,000/- + Grade Pay of ₹12,700/- and other applicable allowances.
Academic Level: Level 10
Pay Range: ₹57,700 – ₹1,82,400/- per month, along with other allowances as admissible under the applicable government rules.
MHRB Assam Recruitment Eligibility
Candidates should make sure that they fulfil the required age and educational qualifications before applying.
Age Limit
The candidate’s age should be:
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 38 years
- Age calculated as on: 1 January 2026
Relaxation in the upper age limit will be available to eligible reserved-category candidates according to the applicable Government of Assam rules.
Educational Qualification
Applicants must possess an MBBS degree from a recognized university/institution.
Candidates must also be registered under the Assam Medical Council.
No Objection Certificate (NOC)

- Directorate of Health Services (DHS), Assam
- National Health Mission (NHM), Assam
