Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility requirements differ according to the post. Candidates should carefully check the educational qualification, experience, age limit and local-language requirements before submitting the application.
Office Assistant (Multipurpose)
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university or an equivalent qualification.
Candidates must also have proficiency in the local language prescribed for the concerned Regional Rural Bank. Working knowledge of computers is desirable.
Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager)
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university or an equivalent qualification.
Preference may be given to candidates having qualifications in areas such as Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics or Accountancy.
Knowledge of the prescribed local language and basic computer knowledge are desirable.
Officer Scale-II – General Banking Officer
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks.
Applicants should also have two years of experience as an officer in a bank or financial institution. Preference may be given to candidates with qualifications in banking, finance, agriculture, management, law, economics, accountancy and related fields.
Officer Scale-II – Information Technology
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Communication, Computer Science, Information Technology or an equivalent qualification with at least 50% marks.
Candidates should have one year of relevant work experience. Additional computer-related certifications may be desirable.
Officer Scale-II – Chartered Accountant
Candidates should be a Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and should have one year of experience as a Chartered Accountant.
Officer Scale-II – Law Officer
Candidates should possess a Law degree from a recognised university with at least 50% marks.
Applicants should have two years of experience as an advocate or relevant experience as a Law Officer in a bank or financial institution.
Officer Scale-II – Marketing Officer
Candidates should have an MBA in Marketing from a recognised university or institution along with one year of relevant experience.
Officer Scale-II – Treasury Manager
Candidates should possess either CA qualification or an MBA in Finance from a recognised institution and should have one year of relevant experience.
Officer Scale-II – Agriculture Officer
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Dairy, Animal Husbandry, Forestry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture or an equivalent qualification with at least 50% marks.
Two years of relevant experience is required.
Officer Scale-III
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks.
A minimum of five years of experience as an officer in a bank or financial institution is required. Preference may be given to candidates with qualifications in banking, finance, agriculture, management, law, economics, accountancy and other relevant fields.
