Stipend
Apprentices will receive a monthly stipend according to the prevailing apprenticeship rules.
The current minimum stipend for eligible NTC/STC holders is ₹9,600 per month. Depending on the applicable training exemption and year of apprenticeship, the amount may increase to ₹10,560 in the second year and ₹11,040 in the third year.
Stipend rates may be revised by the competent authority from time to time.

Educational Qualification
For Most Trades
Candidates must have passed Matriculation/Class 10 or its equivalent with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board.
In addition, applicants must possess the relevant National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued by NCVT or a provisional certificate issued by NCVT/SCVT in the applicable trade.
The minimum marks requirement in Class 10 does not apply to SC/ST candidates as per the recruitment conditions.
Medical Laboratory Technician – Pathology/Radiology
Candidates applying for these trades should have passed Class 12 under the 10+2 system with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as subjects.
