Educational Qualification
LDC / JSA and Most DEO Posts
Candidates must have successfully completed 12th Standard (10+2) or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
DEO / DEO Grade ‘A’ – Specific Posts
For certain DEO/DEO Grade ‘A’ posts in specified departments, candidates must have passed 12th Standard in the Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized board or an equivalent qualification.
Candidates Appearing in Class 12th
Candidates who are appearing for their Class 12th/equivalent examination may also apply, provided they obtain the required educational qualification by the prescribed cut-off date, 7 October 2026.

SSC CHSL Selection Process 2026
The SSC CHSL recruitment process will be conducted through multiple stages.
Stage 1 – Tier-I Examination

Stage 2 – Tier-II Examination
