The admission process is being conducted on behalf of the Directorate of Health Services (Family Welfare), Government of Assam. Eligible female candidates who wish to pursue the ANM course can apply through the official online application portal.

Eligibility Criteria for Assam ANM Admission
Candidates should carefully check the following eligibility requirements before submitting the application.
Citizenship:
The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
Permanent Resident:
Candidates must be permanent residents of Assam and should be able to provide a valid Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) as required.
Gender:
Only female candidates are eligible to apply for the ANM course.
Age Limit:
The candidate’s age should be between 17 and 35 years as on 31 December 2026.
Age Relaxation:
The upper age limit is relaxed up to 42 years for eligible Anganwadi Workers, ASHA Workers and Trained Dais, as per applicable rules.
Educational Qualification:
Applicants must have successfully passed Higher Secondary/Class 12 (10+2) from a recognized board.
Assam ANM Admission Examination Fee
The examination fee for the ANM Entrance Examination 2026 has not yet been announced. Candidates will have to pay the prescribed fee according to the official notification.

Assam ANM Entrance Examination 2026
Candidates seeking admission to Government ANM Training Schools will have to appear for the SSUHS ANM Entrance Examination (ANMEE) 2026.
