1. Head Constable (General Duty) – Sports Quota
Total Vacancies: 182 Posts

Pay Scale: Pay Matrix Level-4 – ₹25,500 to ₹81,100
Educational Qualification
Applicants must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board/University recognized by the Central or State Government.
Equivalent Army qualifications may also be considered for eligible ex-servicemen.
Sports Eligibility
Candidates must satisfy the prescribed sports achievement criteria. Eligible achievements include:
- Representing India in recognized international competitions/meets with the required clearance from the Department of Sports, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
- Representing a State/UT at National Games or Championships organized by recognized National Sports Federations or the National Games conducted by the Indian Olympic Association and securing a position/medal up to 3rd place.
- Securing 1st or 2nd position in individual events at recognized Inter-University Tournaments. For team events, the team should have reached the final.
- Winning Gold or Silver medals at recognized Junior National-level Games, Championships or Meets.

Candidates should have passed Matriculation (10th) or equivalent from a recognized Board.
Sports Eligibility
Applicants should possess the required sports achievements in recognized competitions. The specified categories include:
- Representing a State at Senior/Junior National-level Games or Championships conducted by recognized National Sports Federations.
- Representing State School Teams in National Sports/Games for Schools conducted by the recognized school sports authority and securing a medal or position up to 3rd place.
- Representing a State/UT in recognized Khelo India University Games, Khelo India Youth Games or Khelo India Winter Games and securing a medal or position up to 3rd place.
- Representing a University in recognized Inter-University Tournaments in the specified sports/games.
